Lastly

Last writing for 2012,

I wish I had more time.
I wish I had more control.
I wish I had said and do
many things that I couldn't.

Above everything else,
I wish I'm not wishing.

The Bucket List 1

Halfway to 30s and I've never been to even a quarter from the world map yet. Sigh, pathetic woman.

Tragedi bulan Oktober

Some are lucky dudes who are sponsored by lovely parents, some are just penniless who could only afford to pay gas to travel from home to the city.

Itupun dah sangap gila

God's land is so vast that no mere human could possibly quit discovering something new. Today someone might just discover, "Oh dude I found a small island shaped like a tortoise". And tomorrow someone else will go, "God can you believe this? The second Mariana Trench was found!". It is possible.

If anyone would ask me where I world like to go, I'd consider these two points; history and nature. Definitely wouldn't go to another big city, what's the whole main point of travelling when you see the same rock jungle right. Swear I would slap myself.

Nothing could beat the beautifully crafted nature, it will make your jaw drop that the heart would stop for a second to embrace such beauty. The appreciation would result to a realization, reminding me how small I am in this God's land.

Historical buildings amaze me nonetheless. They have quite a story there don't you think, despite the fancy architecture  It stood strong for hundred years, some even for thousand years; to comprehend how the past look like. To tell us why and how it happened and to visualize to us how the civilization actually developed. Visiting these places is like commuting in time capsule, which I simply love.

Figured it would be good to make a compilation, who know's if one day I could actually make it?

Dipersembahkan angan-angan Mat Jenin

The Bucket List 1:

Aurora Borealis, Norway

Machu Picchu, Peru

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

Grand Canyon, Arizona

Petra, Jordan

Iguazu Falls, Argentina

And of course the list does not stop here. To be continued...

Penabungan bermula.

Good 'Ol Times

Celebrated a good friend's convocation some time ago, reminded me of the good times I used to have. Boy, can someone invent the time machine already?

Trust me when you finally start working; with that super long working hours, endless tasks, the pressure of achieving the expectations, yeah add up with the scolds from the bosses, life is not that pretty until your paycheck day to remind you why you're doing what you're doing.

Hari Isnin maki, Selasa marah, Rabu jadi singa, Khamis sudah gila.

At that moment, the only thing you miss the most are your uni years! For one simple reason, the care-free life. Where there are no worries, no obligations, just you worrying over exams and to whom you should throw your laundry to. Plus surrounded by friends that are very much like your family makes life even more beautiful.

Masalah harian cuma fikir nak isi perut dan isi otak.

My pieces are scattered everywhere, since I have always believe in "now or never" thingy. Haha. Sigh, the naivety. I love futsal and dancing, despite I'm not any good in any of it (they said I run like a goose, daymn you). But indeed I did, learnt as much as I could to laugh and cry along the journey.

Perasan lembut gemalai, tapi kayu. Perasan bawak bola, tapi lari berkepak macam angsa. Haha.

After more than a year, feel like walking down the memory lane again;

Irreplaceable moments captured in vivid memories is the best part. With The O.C style dude, can you beat that? Haha.

Inilah hasil apabila menilik gambar lama sambil mendengar lagu sayu dimalam buta.

Great BLue Hole of Belize

I am mid 20s and I have never swim. *I know, what a shame*

I only know how to "dive"...or so I called...blup blup myself like a frog in that blue water until I run out of oxygen in my lungs. And I only dare to get into that water if I know how deep it is, where my foot could touch the ground and I could still stuck my head out for some air. *I know, what a coward*

Saya seekor katak yang berjaya

And when I accidentally found this on Google somewhere, I already imagine how my grave will look like in hundred meters under stalagmite and stalactite, if I ever thought of becoming "adventurous" someday.

It's not about the depth, it's a freaking...trap!

Meet the Great Blue Hole of Belize.

Source: Google Images

Can you see how dark that hole is!!! It's so deep it's not even in pretty blue color anymore. Oh God, I could pee in my pants *faint*

It's recognized as the world's largest hole underwater and it's 146m deep yaw. Roughly at 300m across, it seems like it's the hot stuff among the divers, the 'fear factor'.

The Blue Hole lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 70 km from the mainland and Belize City. And of course, it is part of the larger Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, a World Heritage Site of the UNESCO.

Apparently this hole is actually a cave...the sunken cave. It was formed during several episode of Quaternary glaciation when sea levels were much lower. As the ocean began to rise again, the caves were flooded.

Here's the less scary image:

Guess who found it first? Mr. Jacques-Yves Cousteau! Bravo bravo. In 1971, he brought his ship, the Calypso and his 1-man submarines to the hole to chart its depths and examine stalactites suspended from overhanging walls.

Of course people don't just dive there to see the fish, they want to document the cave system. Journey of discovery with all new friends, the sharks family! You'll meet Mr.Hammerheads, Mrs.Carribbean Reef Shark, Jr.Black Tip Shark, and Ms.Bull Shark. How lovely, all the carnivores.

Now here's the not-so-pretty image:

Since the divers, which are the normal human beings, they couldn't possibly just go 400ft below to reach the ground. The deeper areas inside the Blue Hole don't have the profusion of life associated with most drop-offs as a result of poorly circulating waters and little light.

Which means, it's freaking dark that if you fall down there, no one could possibly find you.
"Save mee...blup blup...save mee...blup blup...s.a.v.e..m.e....-give up and dead-".
Oh.my.God. *horror face*

I am no kidding dude.

.  .  .  .

The deeper one dives into the Blue Hole, the clearer the water and the more breathtaking the scenery, as the array of bizarre stalactites and limestone formations which mold its walls become more complex and intense.
On the western side at a depth of 230 feet (70 meters), there is an entrance through a narrow tunnel into a large cavern. In total darkness the stalactites, stalagmites and columns exist in an undisturbed world.
The floor is covered with very fine silt which billows into great clouds with the slightest movement from a passing diver. In the farthest corner, another narrow tunnel leads upwards into a 2nd cavern and another leads to a 3rd cavern where the skeletal remains of turtles which found their way in, never made their way out.
Some of the tunnels are thought to be linked right through to the mainland, though it has never been conclusively proven. The mainland also has many water-filled sinkholes which are connected to caves and tunnels.
2-foot long cores revealed outstanding sedimentary laminations during a study by Robert F. Dill and divers from the Cambrian Foundation in 1997. There is no oxygen near the bottom, and hydrogen sulfide prevents bottom dwellers from burrowing and disturbing the sediment.
Preliminary analyses of the short cores showed fluctuating pollen, spores, mercury, and arsenic levels ranging from 15 and 21 ppm (parts per million). Other events recorded in the short cores included hurricane or large storm layers. The storm layers are light-colored and beautifully laminated.

.  .  .  .

Must be an exciting journey. You've gotta be an excellent diver with multiple experiences under your belt first, to overcome any situation to help yourself down there.

Mapuh kerah la weh.

In my dreams of course. Haha

Mengawan

There has been numerous wedding invitations these days if you notice, must be "mengawan" season.

Well can't help not to be immersed by such happiness when seeing the bride and the bridegroom walking hand by hand so romantically. These are when the girls will swoon and say "Aaahhh so suwittt laaa. Nak kahwin jugak."

Padahal nak perasan cantik pakai gaun besar je sebenarnya. Ala ala princess gitu.

Nak sangat meriah, nak amik guna lampu raya

.  .  .  .

Like any other girls, I do swoon over pretty dresses, pretty backdrop, perfect atmosphere, etc. And of course the most essential, the "man". It doesn't have to be the perfect guy, enough with the right man to complete the other half of me. Found one hehe *hi baby!*.

Then there's the happily ever after ending dream. Awwwwww *eyes with full of love*. Gosh, obviously Disney has feed us girls with too much fantasy huh?

But I guess the real deal only begins after marriage. The challenge is to keep the momentum going for the rest of your life, caring and loving the same person until your last breath. The gratitude of being granting an anugerah for life will overpower any obstacles.

Despite any differences you both have, you'll come together somehow to the common ground - for the love you have for each other. Need to keep that affection and intimacy rolling dude, we're gonna be cruising our lifetime together! *chicken dance yeahh*

Amboi sembang lebih macam gaya dah kahwin. Haha.

What marriage really is to me, is purely beautiful.

Dicipta untuknya agar tidak bersendirian.
Bukan saja untuk hayat disini, InsyaAllah hingga ke syurga sana.

As potrayed by our beloved Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam;
.  .  .  .
‘Aisha raḍyAllāhu ‘anha and the Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam would use code language with each other denoting their love. She asked the Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam how he would describe his love for her.
The Prophet Muhammad answered, saying:
“Like a strong binding knot.” The more you tug, the stronger it gets, in other words.
Every so often ‘Aisha would playfully ask,
“How is the knot?”
The Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam would answer,
“As strong as the first day (you asked).”
.  .  .  .
Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam was sitting in a room with ‘Aisha raḍyAllāhu ‘anha fixing his shoes, ‘Aisha happened to look to his blessed forehead and noticed that there were beads of sweat on it. Mesmerized by the majesty of that sight she remained transfixed staring at him long enough for him to notice.
The Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said,
“What’s the matter?”
She replied,
“If Abu Bukair Al-Huthali, the poet, saw you, he would know that his poem was written for you.”
The Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam asked,
“What did he say?”
She replied,
“Abu Bukair said that if you looked to the majesty of the moon, it twinkles and lights up the world for everybody to see.”
So the Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam got up, walked to Aisha, kissed her between the eyes, and said,
Wallahi ya Aisha, you are like that to me and more.”
.  .  .  .
MashaAllah.
P/S: Note to future husband -> Bersedialah untuk dimadukan. Bantal golek ialah suamiku juga.

New Rainbow

It had been so surreal, those past 400+ days.

First job in banking industry, found love, repetitive frustrations and heartaches, commitments planning, bundle of happiness, etc .......

Well duh, that's life. Whaddaya expect, all sunnies and rainbows? This ain't heaven yet.

And a lot of swearing words in my vocab dictionary 2011. Thanks to the collide of young blood temper with emm, old blood temper? But I am certainly not proud of myself turning into a hulk.

Oh wait, HELLO 2012!

Which planet I am from? I should really forget saying that. Hahaha.

Ucapan yang sudah basi sekian lama.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been missing the time to write. Late nights in bank balancing those credit and debit transactions, and yeah so much of Emergency Leave that any boss would want to slap me due to numerous interviews that I attended.

Image from Google Images

And the result is..... *jeng jeng jeng*

I'm out from the bank! Alhamdulillah!

Currently in totally different industry - retailing. Yet I received many puzzled face when deciding this.

Why do you resigned? Bank has more benefits.

Yeah it sure is. But I want to see the world, work with different people from different culture, be creative, and most importantly, it makes me happy. Can the bank offer me that?

Nahh.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's pretty funny when looking back, people might think that I'm a job hopper. If I don't like it, I'll jump around to next company. Well the truth is, not many of us are that lucky to have found what they dream of at their first shot. Despite having a degree in specific major, that doesn't help much in finding your destiny. You work your sweat out and suddenly it hit you, "I don't feel right about this".

Since working hours consume most of your time in your life until your retirement which would be like 30 years from now, your happiness pretty much on jeopardy. I believe you have to love what you do. Trust me that will free you from the chances of stroke and advance aging.

Well the new job is, interesting and different. Less risky. But the only thing that remain the same is the long hours. In fact, it is much much longer I could barely cope and sleeping in the car park just to escape the congested traffic is normal to me. Apart from the responsibility to lead that I will carry soon, I'll just have to find any reason to make

My journey won't stop here. I'll keep searching until I'll say to myself, "This is what I've been looking for."
